EMAIL CAMPAIGNS AT EDPSoft: Earlier, the company used to send emails to its target audience every day. These emails were sent once in a month, to different geographical locations For instance, if the email campaign was sent to target customers of Jharkhand, India, on the April 1, then it had to be sent again (?) to them not earlier than May 1. The company wanted to focus more on the software brand name than on the company’s image..
NEW EMAIL CAMPAIGN: The new email campaign was designed by Taniya with the help and guidance of her mentor. These new emails were expected to overcome the shortcomings of the previous email campaign. They had a color combination of blue and light yellow which looked great together. Blue created a feeling of calmness and trust when it came to building relationships and yellow was meant to stimulate happiness and cheerfulness..
TANIYA’S PREDICAMENT: Taniya had just one week left to submit her report to the mentor. She felt she had learnt a lot on email campaigns as she had started working on it since the second day of her internship program. Taniya had also conducted a Trend Analysis (Sample-10days) between the Response Rate, i.e., the number of clicks received on the email campaigns and Sales, i.e., the number of software products sold..
